Jeevan Pramaan is a biometric enabled digital service for pensioner of Central Government, State Government or any other Government organization can take benefit of this facility.
The annual life certificate or Jeevan Pramaan Patra must be submitted by November 30, 2022 for continue receiving government pension. Earlier the presence of senior citizen was must to get the government pension but seeing the difficulty they face, government come up with digital life certificate which ease the whole process to next level.
Digital Life Certificate for Pensioners Scheme of the Government of India known as Jeevan Pramaan seeks to address this very problem by digitizing the whole process of securing the life certificate. It aims to streamline the process of getting this certificate and making it hassle free and much easier for the pensioners. With this initiative the pensioners requirement to physically present himself/herself in front of the disbursing agency or the certification authority will become a thing of the past benefiting the pensioners in a huge way and cutting down on unnecessary logistical hurdles.
There are multiple ways available in the market in order to renew your jeevan pramaan certificate::
- Reach out to CSC(Common Service Center) near to your as there will be Biometric or IRIS scan available.
- Reach out to nearest SBI Bank as there will be Biometric scan available.
- Reach out to nearest Post Office as there also will be Biometric scan available.
- Reach out to nearest EPFO office as there will be Biometric or IRIS scan available.
- Go to Jeevan Pramaan website, download the app by validating your email id with OTP which will link with the aadhar face rd app for face scan.
- Doorstep Banking service available ie. “Doorstep Banking (DSii)” app can be downloaded.
