What is Tiryak Tadasan?

Tiryaka tadasana is one of the variation of tadasana with a good stretching posture and beneficial for reducing fat around the waist. In Sanskrit Tiryak means slanted and Tadasana is the Palm tree pose.

PROS

  • Balances the right and left groups of postural muscles.
  • It helps to expand the chest and improve breathing.
  • It tones the organs in the abdomen and improves digestion.

CONS

  • Avoid this if having back pain.
  • Avoid this if having cervical pain.
  • Avoid this if suffering from any form of hernia.
  • Avoid this if having cardiac problems and high blood pressure.
